Re: Realm Wars - Live By The Sword
While this activity is going on, the carriage driver for Menanti looks notably displeased. However, he was not about to just stand idly by while this activity occurred. Steadying himself behind the wall of the coach driver's area, he begins to aim his pistol at the foe who appeared to be more than just your average bandit.
Meanwhile, the shadowy man closes his hand sharply and the whip seems to form inside of his hand but it strangely tends to be wavering in and out of existence, it seems almost translucent but clearly being held in his hand. It seems that it takes him a moment to steady himself after the technique he used which is wonderful news for Leo.
(( You won initiative so you can make your action. The order of attack is: You, enemy, coach driver . Also, since this is the first time you have drawn Atreyus, please use your creative talent to describe it.))

Re: Realm Wars - Live By The Sword
What seems like only a mere second in time I draw forth upon Atreyus, a sword from appearance being of the two handed nature, oddly enough only being held in my right hand. As its drawn it gives a quick glint, cutting through the air almost in a weightless manor.
A simple design from just a glance
Solid 1 1/2 foot metal handle parts, simulated leather grip, silver plated vine design Protected by the 5 Blade hand gard, each blade extends from the bottom to the top in a straight walking pattern the first one only reaching 1 inch in length to the final ones 5in from the base hand guard in a claw like manor. One could only imagine that if you were to be meet these blades that they would become more then just a decorative hand guard.
The blade extends 3 1/2 feet in lenth with a slight curve, it is double sided with the back section of the blade only extending from the point 1/2 way down the blade with a slight wavy pattern to it. On the base of the blade is an engraving that shows the image of a single man standing alone being wrapped in a decorative text with the name of the sword rotating around the single figure.
The instant the tip is about to touch the ground, I crouch to the ground and leap towards the threatening figure as a manor to disable his weapon.
Real or not I will not allow you to hurt that animal anymore.

(( Alright, now you are cooking with lava. Let's roll your attack roll!
You can add the extra points that all of your talents with your sword offer. As usual, it is 2d6 +ACV with any modifiers. Make sure to notate any modifiers you add until we get a flow down with battle. ))

Re: Realm Wars - Live By The Sword
The dark figured man with the whip seems to take a strange sense of enjoyment out of being engaged in battle. He tries to bring up the whip to fend off the oncoming sword but he is only a slight bit too slow. Leo bears down on him with a very powerful slash into the whip-bearer's torso. The man grunts angrily and staggers back slightly as a nice bloody wound has appeared on him.
As soon as Leo has time to witness this, he hears the sound of the carriage driver's voice. Who simply states one thing... "DUCK!" Upon these words being uttered, the sound of another gunshot can be heard and a bullet whizzes toward the shadowy man and... unfortunately... towards Leo.
(( Make a body check with +3 since you were warned to react quick enough to duck the bullet )).

Hearing the sharp but familiar sound leo quickly without even needing to look tumbled backwards away from the man to avoid being hit.

Re: Realm Wars - Live By The Sword
Indeed, Leo is able to duck without any challenge at all and the bullet whizzes past him and toward its intended target, the man with the whip. However, as the bullet nears him, the man makes a fluid jump onto a nearby tree stump. The bullet cracks the side of the trunk and leaves a smoking impact zone but the man is unhurt. The man smirks at Leo. Hmph...useless.
Seemingly more interested in Leo, the man spins his hand with the whip gracefully and small thornlike protrusions are now visible along the sides of his weapon. With a blink of an eye he snaps the whip toward Leo trying to catch him on the arm.
(( Defense Roll, standard)).

Re: Realm Wars - Live By The Sword
Much to the relief of Leo, he sees the man's whip coming and he has plenty of time to dodge out of the way.
(( Post how you dodge and then go ahead and make your next attack post )).

Re: Realm Wars - Live By The Sword
As soon as I noticed the whip I took a cat like stance to the side to make good measure for it to miss and abruptly charged this strange man swinging my sword from the lower left side of my body up towards the right. while giving the man a ease of a way to dodge my blatantly open assault I am putting the majority of my focus in to a simple yet powerful Telekinesis Push that should send this man flying backwards into whatever object directly behind him.
Don't count out those that you have nOO IDEA ABOUT ! ! ! !

(( Real quick... I just looked at your CS. In order to use Telekinesis you require a round to charge. I have not seen you activate this yet. ))
